Scarlett Keelings mother faces jail as Goa murder trial begins

Fiona MacKeown, 44, pleaded guilty to secretly claiming �19,000 income await in between Feb 2005 and Mar 2008 at Exeter Crown Court.

The justice coming meant MacKeown, of West Lodge, Devon, was incompetent to get to Goa for the conference of the dual men charged with murdering her 15-year-old daughter.

Scarlett was found passed on a beach in Goa in Feb 2008. She had been drugged, raped and killed whilst on holiday.

Samson D"Souza, 30, and Placido Carvalho, 42, were in justice in Panaji to face charges of failing in duty homicide, passionate assault, outraging tact and destroying evidence. Both are on bail.

The conference was shelved to Apr 5 when conference of witnesses will begin.

MacKeown, who fought a prolonged debate for a full review in to her daughter"s death, is approaching to give evidence.

But prior to today"s conference in Exeter, MacKeown marked down the conference in India a show trial.

She pronounced "It"s all for show. It"s to show they"re you do something about it. I don"t think they"ll ever crook the dual of them.

"There"s a probability one of them murdered her. But at the same time I don"t wish any one trusting finished for her murder."

Exeter Crown Court listened that MacKeown was creatively indicted of secretly claiming some-more than �50,000 income support.

But she pleaded guilty to one equate of obtaining income transfers by dishonesty on the basement that she secretly claimed �19,000 value of income support.
