The big leader at this years Addy foe was Raleigh promotion group Howard, Merrell & Partners.
Howard Merrell took home eight bullion awards and sixteen altogether in this years competition. Six of the golds stemmed from the agencys work for Invistas Cordura code fabric.
The sum was some-more than any one elsebut only barely.
Craig Jackson & Partners of Chapel Hill snared fifteen awards. Three of the awards were gold.
There were some-more than 100 awards handed out at this years competition, sponsored by the Raleigh-Durham section of the American Advertising Federation. The approval can assistance ad agencies mount out from rivals as they quarrel to win new business.
Durham ad group The Republik won the "Best of Show" endowment for a leaflet it did for customer Wellcraft Boats. That was one of twelve Addys won by The Republik.
Other big winners were Raleighs Capstrat, that won 10 Addys, and Ogilvy in Durham, that prisoner 8 prizes.
